Ashok is an Indian film director, perhaps of the few immensely talented film makers from India. He tasted bis success with Pilla Zamindar (PZ) featuring actor NANI in 2011, before which there were 4 films directed by him with one winning Nandi award. After PZ he directed the films - SUKUMARUDU (2013), CHITRANGADA (2017) and BHAAGAMATHIE (2018) featuring ANUSHKA SHETTY, which went on to break all records for women centric theme. The film was also remade by him in Hindi titled “DURGAMATI – THE MYTH” featuring BHOOMI PEDNEKAR and backed by AKSHAY KUMAR.

After that he made a silent film “UFFF” as musical with A.R RAHMAN and Guru Randhawa’s debut film Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye (KKHJ) which are ready for release.

Ashok, an engineering graduate is multi talented having also worked as a child artist in 16 movies, choreographed over 300 songs. He has also learnt 13 different forms of Indian classical dancing that helped him understand the nuances of expressions. He learnt his Gnikamml in the UK, and has also worked for over 60 documentaries across Switzerland, Poland Germany and USA. Many of these won different awards.
